Hey everyone! Here's the concept art for the day! π½
You are looking at a common Astigmian warrior wearing proximum bio-armor. In the world of Essence, it's most commonly referred to as proxy armor. Between us, we co-creators call such armor simply "proxies" or "prox". Already got our own local slang! π
Proxy armor serves both as clothing and armor at the same time for the inhabitants of Essence. The longer the owner wears the proxy armor, the more sturdy it becomes, and the more qualities it acquires. The artwork shows the evolution of the proxy armor on Astigmians of the warrior caste.
Proxy armor enhances the wearer's physical abilities, but its use comes at a high cost to its owner. In order to grow, proxy armor must form a symbiotic bond with the wearer, which becomes inseparable and permanent over time.
Artist - Kardalak.

Greetings, dear viewers and co-creators of the Covenantum Universe. It's me, Ilya Denisov πΎ.
Today I would like to make an important announcement. Due to the events that have overwhelmed the world, we are compelled to postpone the release date of the comic. We had previously announced that we would begin publication at the end of March, but the current news background, as well as a number of other reasons, have discouraged us from doing so.
I can assure you that despite everything, we are still working on our graphic novel. It's all coming together. I would like to promise that we will begin publishing in April. I hope that the timing will be more appropriate than it is now.

Let's also pay attention to the concept art of the common cargo grabber. Cargo grabbers are mostly used by stalkers and travellers. Any long journey through the dangerous lands of Essence would be impossible without a cargo grabber.
In addition to their ability to hold many valuable items, cargo grabbers can be equipped with special bio-compartments to store pneuma, Essence's most valuable resource. Such bio-compartments maintain a positive temperature, which is essential for preserving the nourishing properties of pneuma.

Acaromorphs are living creatures artificially created by followers of almost every covenant. They are used to hold and carry things, weapons, and biotech devices. Acaromorphs are otherwise known as grabbers.
Grabbers belong to a protobior subspecies. Such biors have no brain, cannot function or feed on their own, but have a primitive nervous system as well as implanted reflexes. Their limbs are equipped with soft protruding outgrowths, which, when pressed, cause the grabbers to reflexively interlock their paws.
Grabbers come in many shapes and sizes, but there are just two basic types of them: cargo and combat grabbers. Cargo grabbers clutch on the chest and are worn on the back. Combat grabbers, on the other hand, are worn on the chest, clutch on the back, and are usually equipped with additional membrane pouches that are secured around the waist.
The cargo grabbers offer much more capacity than the combat ones. And yet combat grabbers are equipped with a heavy, multi-layered chitinous shell that protects both the contents of the acaromorph and its owner. In the world of Essence, battles are fought mostly in melee combat, making the additional frontal armor highly valued by many covenant warriors.
Since acaromorphs are living creatures, they need to be fed. Without proper care and feeding, grabbers will weaken, lose their grip, and eventually die.

Asha Shangwaru is one of the key figures in our upcoming graphic novel Covenantum: The Great Ancestors and one of the central characters within the Covenantum Universe.
Asha is a warrior-monk belonging to the Highest Orsha caste and a follower of the Orsha Alliance covenant. Like all Orshas, Asha excels in strength and endurance. She is a master of lakantan, the deadly art of hand-to-hand combat that all Orsha Alliance warrior-monks are trained in.
Asha has devoted most of her life to serving the ways of the Temple of the Primordial, a religious cult whose members are close to the covenant leaders and govern the spiritual life of the Highest Orsha.
The traditions of the Orsha dictate that warrior-monks must never leave the covenant grounds, but Asha is an exception. She left her home long ago and now wanders the lands of the Astigmians guided by a calling only she can comprehend.

Damn Son Where'd You Find This?! π±
Kardalak is on fire again! Today we have an awesome new artwork, featuring a member of the Tsvergu race belonging to the Amashum Priests caste.
The Amashum Priests are a caste of followers of the Cult of Kabalut covenant, who rank high in the covenant hierarchy. They dwell within the Andraal Crucible, which is located at the center of the covenant's domain.
Few inhabitants of Essence dare to even approach the crucibles, but the Tsvergu and especially the priests have no fear of the Great Ancestors' legacy, for the Andraal Crucible is their sacred abode. In the darkness of the Andraal Crucible resides the mysterious leader of the covenant, and the priests are bound to follow his orders without question.
The caste was named after the first priest, who went by the name of Amashum. According to legend, it was he who awakened the Andraal Crucible from its centuries-long slumber, but to do so he had to sacrifice his life the same day he accepted the duty of becoming a priest.

We've noticed that not all of our new subscribers understand when they will be able to see the graphic novel and what the publication process will be like. We need to address that!π€
The graphic novel is currently in production. Publication of the first pages of the graphic novel will take place in mid to late March 2022. The novel will be published in the course of its creation on our social media pages and on dedicated comic book distribution platforms.
We expect wide publicity and support from the comic book community, which is why the graphic novel will be distributed digitally for free. When the graphic novel is completed, we'll start fundraising to release the print version.
Just to keep you entertained, we'll be posting concept-arts, featurettes, backstages and other cool stuff for the next three months. Stay tuned!

Today we have an incredible art by our artist Kardalak πΎ !
The concept art depicts a character of the tsvergu people, dressed in a powerful bio-suit. That being said, it's worth telling a little bit about these guys!
The tsvergu people are the mysterious followers of the covenant The Cult of Kabalut. Not much is known about them, but one thing everyone knows for sure is that they are someone to watch out for. The tsvergu are the finest hunters in all of Essence. They are unrivaled in the art of stalking and stealthy infiltration.
The oldest tsvergu are well versed in the mysteries of Essence. But they do not share their knowledge with other nations willingly. Followers of the Cult of Kabalut lead an isolated way of life and are aggressive toward all other inhabitants of Essence.
