------------
The team from the West University of Timișoara had the pleasure of participating in the European Researchers' Night at Nokia Timișoara, a prestigious event that gathered thousands of participants. We had the opportunity to present several robotic applications developed within the European project Artificial Intelligence based Robotics, which I am honored to coordinate.
This was a valuable occasion to highlight how artificial intelligence and robotics can inspire education, research, and the future of technology.
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the fourth Training in Pedagogical Methods (Problem based Learning) and Robotic Algorithm Verification and Synthesis, which took place from March 10 to March 14, 2025, in Timisoara, organised by West University of Timisoara.
The training covered a range of topics: modern student centered approaches: Problem based Learning (PBL), Introduction to the Theorem and Coq systems, algorithm synthesis and verification in Theorema, algorithm certification in Coq, Brain Computer Interfaces, 3D game development with BCI, Formal Analysis of Specification of Cyber-physical Systems in Rewriting Logic, Telepresence robots, Soft robotics, Generating 2D and 3D maps with collaborative robots, as well as integrating the tools and robotic applications in teaching.
The training provided a dynamic environment for knowledge exchange, enabling participants to share expertise, gain new perspectives, and strengthen collaborative ties. This collective engagement marks another important step forward in advancing the objectives and outcomes of the AiRobo project.
I had the pleasure of presenting our recent research results from the AiRobo project at EduLearn: 17th International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies in Palma, Spain.
It was truly inspiring to share our work, attend thought-provoking presentations, and connect with passionate academic teachers and researchers from around the world.
Grateful for the experience and the rich exchange of ideas!

My exceptional AiRobo team at our Project Management meeting at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki! ✨ Their dedication and passion drive true innovation—advancing AI, robotics, and formal verification every single day. Together, we’re developing essential research and educational resources for higher-education students and driving the future of technology. I’m honoured to work alongside such a visionary family of colleagues—thank you all for continually lighting the way!
I am delighted to share that I gave an invited talk today on “Teaching Robotics. The AiRobo EU Project on AI-Based Robotics for Higher Education” at the International Conference on Formal Methods and Foundations of Artificial Intelligence (FMF-AI 2025), held at Eszterhazy Karoly Catholic University in Eger, Hungary. It was a great honor to discuss how AiRobo is advancing robotics education through cutting-edge AI techniques and to engage with researchers and academic staff at this exciting event.
I would like to thank Gabor Kusper for inviting me and to the organisers for all the effort put into making FMF-AI 2025 possible. I’m also grateful to the participants for their interest, the fruitful discussions, and for offering novel ideas for future research, which made this experience truly inspiring.
I had the pleasure of presenting our recent results at EDMEDIA+ Innovate Learning 2025 in Barcelona, hosted by Universitat Oberta de Catalunya – the premier international conference on educational technology and innovation since 1987.
Our presentation, part of the AiRobo project, showcased collaborative work on Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Formal Verification, developed together with our partners from five different countries (Romania, Greece, Germany, Hungary, and France). The interaction with researchers, the insightful questions, fruitful discussions, and curiosity from attendees made this a truly enriching experience.
Grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a dynamic and forward-looking community! 🌍
I am delighted to have had the privilege of presenting our research results on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at ICINCO: 21th International Conference on Informatics in Control, Automation and Robotics, in Porto, Portugal. It was an incredible experience, filled with engaging questions, stimulating discussions, and meaningful interactions with the audience.
The energy and curiosity in the room sparked fresh ideas and inspired new perspectives! Robotics and AI offer boundless possibilities, and I look forward to continuing this journey with such a passionate and innovative community!
Let’s keep the dialogue alive and work together to shape the future!
