Look at this list of releases winning the prestigious The Progspace awards! And our boys of Seventh Station are in there, shining brightly like the stars they are! (We of course already knew this, but it's nice to see the confirmation externally haha)

But let's face it, all are winners in our books and especially big love goes out to Ihlo & Moron Police, as both those albums have been doing the rounds in our offices a lot as well.

Well, we know we are! And Seventh Station gives us exactly that! With much appreciation to The Progspace for premiering this video today!

The international band Seventh Station unleashes this dramatic, theatrical video for the song "Faust Cantata: VII. "Es geschah..." which is featured on their latest EP "On Shoulders Of Giants".

A dramatic progresive metal reinterpretation of a music piece by Schnittke, leaning heavily into Faustian imagery and delivering a harrowing tale of good and evil.

“AEONS are very proud to release our most ambitious project yet – a a whole EP of one epic track dedicated to a single proposition : “What if we are not alone in this endless emptiness? ” We wanted to pursue a fresh approach to this philosophy and look at what that might mean for our cultures, our beliefs, our sense of self and ultimately our place in the universe. AEONS signs with Layered Reality Productions and announces new release!

After a succesful run of critical acclaimed albums and shows on many stages (with a special mention to their show at Prog Metal Mania in Munich earlier this year) we at Layered Reality were very happy and honored to welcome these gents to the LRP family.

AEONS - known for their signature blend of progressive metal, melodic prog and brutal grooves - has completed their next project entitled "6EQUJ5" which will be released through Layered Reality Productions later this year .

"6EQUJ5 has been a huge journey for the whole band, and a mammoth effort of composition and recording - all done by ourselves, here at home on the Isle of Man. 🎉 Apeiron Bound's new song 'Firmament Redux' is out now! 🎉



Returning with fresh energy, the Apeiron Bound collective (A.B.C) releases a new take on a familiar piece of music. Introducing multiple new bandmembers including singers Keith "Tank" McDowell & John Galloway, as well as Cody Letts on guitars and Kristopher Huffman on drums.

This fresh new take on the song Firmament (Originally found on the debut-album "Multiplicity") showcases how the sound of the collective has clear identifiers, but how it is evolving with the new influences brought in by the new contributors.

And to add to this release, the visual side is provided by artist Costin Chioreanu who recreates the intense art for this song in his own specific style!

🎉 Disconnected Souls' new EP 'Spectral' is out now! 🎉

And with a flash not unlike the fragments of consciousness that they unleashed upon the world before, Disconnected Souls returns with their new EP Spectral! A release that is equal parts catchy and ambient but also hits with a proper gut punch when needed.

Besides being a group that stands on it's own creatively, Spectral provides some new twists and turns (With some bandmembers even switching instruments) showing a deep desire to bring the music of the band to new places with every release. The band is joined on this release by singer Jessie Powell who adds an extra color to the allready multifaceted pallette of musical influences.

The track dives into a very modern and recognizable subject, as singer and lyricist Patrick Lloyd muses: "The lyrics of Spectral are about how society lends itself to isolation and overwork, preventing us from living our lives in a purposeful and healthy way. The Japanese term "karoshi" comes to mind. As far as I can see, this is only getting worse with time, so we need to make changes, and fight back against our fates, before we fade away."
