Finally ready to share the full version with you all. I had my engineer hubby jump in and help with the choir parts alongside myself, just to add some spice it up ๐

Did you know that Adele belted this part while pregnant and after a vocal surgery? ๐ฑ She's a GOAT! So yeah it really important to nail that intensity without straight up yelling because there's also a sort of finesse to this ๐

Portraying a Bond Girl is fun ๐
I kind of got inspired by Eva Green's look from Casino Royale when doing this particular project. And of course by Adele's stage makeup ๐
Honestly one of my personal fave looks so far ๐ค
First Light, the new Bond game is coming in a week and I'm excited! How about you?
A Bond Girl-Esque Cover Of Adele's Skyfall
When I think Bond, I think: adventure, sass, suspense and of course, tasty drama all over ๐
Also larger than life characters with cheesy dialogue but great story arcs.
So naturally a song like Skyfall is an amazing choice for that! It's definitely in my top three picks for the best Bond OST.
Aaand what can I say about Adele? She's simply exceptional ๐ฅ
I tried to get into her shoes while also adding a personal twist with his cover.

Adele's Old School Bond Theme
An old but gold right here ๐ This one song has it all: the suspense, the drama, the epicness and that Adele sass.
To celebrate the upcoming 007: First Light (which looks smashing by the way) I decided to revisit an old friend lol
Also here's hoping I could improve upon one of the first songs that I ever performed in front of an actual audience when I was in my childhood.

Music is healing.
I find that I am truly myself when I get lost in the songs that I sing. It's not about perfection, not about the technical side of singing.. it's about moving people and being relatable.
This was one of the projects that allowed me to exercise this the most and I found a new appreciation for another really cool artist. I will be back with some more from Billie cause she's an inspiration.
See you back next week with something... More epic.. more grandiose.. but still spyish ๐

Who would have guessed that Billie Eilish and James Bond go so well together? I was really pleasantly surprised when I first heard this! ๐คค
Whoever thought about doing this song is a genius, swear. This is for sure one of the most underrated Bond themes (not a lot of people talk about this one from what I saw, for some reason).
It made me tear up the first time I heard it, and it still does ๐ฅน

Getting into THAT headspace... It can be terrifying but also freeing. It's something that I'm still getting good at but I intend to own it, in order to become the artist that I want to become.

Billie Eilish And The Power Of Quiet
The quiet power that is the trademark of Billie Eilish takes quite a lot of energy (and lungs lol) to sustain.
She really does convey a lot of emotion with apparently so little because she's actually quite restrained when singing...I mean this girl can clearly belt when she wants too, it's pretty clear on this song ๐ฅ
Only showing hints of her true vocal power gives an hour dynamic. I'm officially a fan now ๐
