Preșcolarii de la Grădinița Altina au marcat cu bucurie și creativitate această zi specială.
Copiii au realizat o lucrare colectivă pe o pânză albastră, folosind boabe de porumb galbene pentru a forma mesajul „HAPPY ETWINNING DAY 2026”. Alegerea culorilor galben și albastru nu a fost întâmplătoare, acestea fiind culorile reprezentative ale comunității eTwinning.
Prin această activitate, cei mici au colaborat pentru realizarea unui produs comun, dezvoltându-și răbdarea, atenția și motricitatea fină, într-un mod creativ și plin de entuziasm.

Global Action Days 2026
Theme 1: “Palette of Plenty – Spring Salad”_Ciupercuțelor Group

Within this activity, we aimed to familiarize children with the concept of healthy and sustainable eating, emphasizing the consumption of local and seasonal products. Inspired by the idea of ​​“Palette of Plenty”, the activity transformed the preparation of a simple spring salad into an educational and sensory experience, in which children discovered the colors, tastes and benefits of natural foods. Starting from the idea of ​​a “colorful plate”, we made a spring salad together, using fresh and familiar ingredients (lettuce, radishes, green onions). The activity was organized in a friendly setting, in which the group functioned as a small community, encouraging collaboration and active involvement of each child. Objectives pursued:
• developing the ability to recognize and name seasonal vegetables;
• identifying colors and associating them with healthy eating;
• developing basic skills regarding hygiene and food handling;
• stimulating fine motor skills through practical activities (cutting, mixing);
• developing sensory curiosity (taste, smell, texture);
• raising awareness, at an elementary level, of the importance of consuming local products for protecting the environment;
• cultivating the spirit of cooperation and active participation in the group.
The activity began with an introductory discussion about the colors of food and their role in health, making the connection with the theme "Global Action Days" - caring for nature through responsible food choices. The children observed, touched and smelled the vegetables, identifying the colors and naming them. Later, they actively participated in preparing the salad: they cut the lettuce leaves, added the ingredients prepared by the educator and mixed the composition. Along the way, they were encouraged to describe what they observed and compare the colors and textures, thus building a true "palette of abundance". The activity ended with arranging the salad on plates and tasting it.
