Welcoming our newest cohort of J1 teachers to the US is always an exciting milestone, and in Ohio we kicked off their arrival with an absolute American classic: Chick-fil-A!
For our visiting educators, experiencing American fast food for the first time came with plenty of fun discoveries—like navigating the nuances of free refills and tipping, as well as figuring out how to clear your own table when you aren't being waited on. One of our teachers even joked, "Chick-fil-A is Lattice’s entry stamp into the US!"
It’s safe to say everyone is a fan, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have this incredible group here. Here’s to new adventures, great food, and a fantastic school year ahead!

Rochester, NY is officially teacher-approved! Beyond being a fantastic city for our international educators to grow professionally, it is just a fun place to live. From catching live outdoor music at the International Jazz Fest and wandering through the vibrant Park Ave neighborhood to spending hours exploring the world-famous Strong National Museum of Play, there is always a new adventure waiting around the corner.
