Sea, sand and this short story book ⛵🌊🦞. I was attracted by the cover, I must admit, but the writing is so good. Very atmospheric. I highly recommend it.

The Easter Parade follows the lives of two sisters, Sarah and Emily Grimes, from their childhood through to middle age and neither of the sisters seems destined to live a happy life. What I loved about this book was the author's ability to perfectly encapsulate the traits of a character in a few lines.
A sad (hey that's life), but very well written book.

I highly recommend this book that I got on a whim from .
It tells the story of the famed Savoy Hotel’s founders, told through three generations—and one hundred years—of glamour and high society. So captivating!
