Another challenging port operation successfully completed at our terminal. Day or night, our 24/7 operations ensure efficient and safe handling of our customer’s cargo.

Big cargo requires expertise and specialized workforce. One of the biggest pieces of cargo discharged this year in our terminal, a 260 tons cylinder, is now safely on the ground, thanks to our dedicated workers and partners from Eastship.
Every step of the process was carried out, as always, with strict adherence to safety procedures.

We had the pleasure to host the Vestas Safety & Quality Engagement Event, together with our partners from Vestas and Holleman Special Transport & Project Cargo. It was a great opportunity to bring people together, exchange ideas, and strengthen valuable collaborations. This event reminds us how important safety procedures are, as well as the shared responsibility we all have in maintaining a secure and efficient working environment.

Last week, SEA CONTAINER SERVICES was present at the World Breakbulk Expo in Shanghai. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with trusted partners, meet new companies, and explore new horizons for growth and collaboration.

In a logistics world that is constantly evolving, understanding how these changes impact cargo flow dynamics in our region of Europe—particularly in the Black Sea and, consequently, in the Port of Constanța—remains a key priority for us.

A big thank you to all the companies that welcomed us, and congratulations to everyone involved in making this event such a success.

Two action-packed days at the SCS terminal. Two vessels carrying WTG equipment were successfully discharged in sequence. At the same time, we handled a lot of steel products, alongside our ongoing Ro-Ro project connecting Romania and Georgia.
This is a clear reflection of our capability to manage diverse cargo operations efficiently and reliably.

Safety First. Always.
Driving every stevedoring operation is one uncompromising priority: safety. In our field of work, precision, coordination and caution are not optional, are essential. Every equipment lifted, every vessel operated, every shift completed safely reflects the professionalism and dedication of our team. We continuously invest in training, modern equipment, and clear communication to ensure that every team member complies with the safety procedures specific for every cargo type handled, because strong port terminals are built on safe operations.

Container operations are part of our company’s DNA. While our ship operations have grown significantly, our stripping and stuffing operations stay strong thanks to the specialized skills of our veteran workers. Timber continues to be one of our most important cargo types. In 2025 alone, more than 50,000 cubic meters of timber were containerized at the SCS Container Terminal, part of our long-term partnership with Agrimol Trade S.A.

m/v King Joy under direct transshipment operations (vessel – barge) in Berth 119. As we always try to provide the most suitable handling process for specific technical conditions, for this lot of cargo (bulk fertilizers) we use a floating crane for precise and fast transshipment.
The loading barges are one of over 10000 barges operated yearly in Constanta Port, facilitating the movement of cargoes to and from Romania and the Danube countries, connecting a hinterland stretching upstream to 2.400 km from our port.

Starting 2026 in full swing, as discharge operations for m/v Seren are completed. Among its cargo, stands out the Tunnel Boring Machine, a specialized machine used to excavate with high precision, speed, and safety, replacing the traditional blasting methods. Commonly used for subway systems and road tunnels, this tremendous machine (over 3000 tons in weight) is to be used for drilling a tunnel serving the under-construction Sibiu-Pitesti highway.

Dismantled in 128 pieces for transport, the machine was discharged in our specialized Terminal to be further delivered by road to the storage/assembly location, under the organization of our partners from Eastship.
