The kitchen was never meant to stay in the background. Open to the living and dining area, it naturally becomes part of everything happening around it.

We went for black and wood, a combination that always feels timeless, and added an island right at the center of it all. The kind of place where coffee happens, conversations start and somehow everyone ends up gathering.

Some houses come with stories long before we arrive. This one, in Medias, is one of them. We chose a masculine direction for the interior, but softened by warm textures and a layout that feels natural to live in.

The living and dining areas flow effortlessly into one another. The sofa becomes the anchor of the entire space, placed confidently in the room instead of being pushed against a wall. Around it, everything starts to make sense, while the dining area quietly completes the picture.

Sometimes the best part of a project is not what you add, but what you dare to change.

This bathroom started out much smaller. By rethinking the layout and relocating a few non-structural walls, we gave the space room to breathe and completely changed the experience of it.

We paired a dusty sage palette with warm wood textures, keeping everything clean, calm and effortless. The kind of bathroom that feels light the moment you walk in.

“Lasă că vedem după” este una dintre acele decizii care par sigure în faza de proiect, pentru că nu obligă la o alegere imediată. În realitate, de cele mai multe ori nu rezolvă nimic, ci doar mută o decizie mai departe în proces, unde contextul este mai limitat și opțiunile devin mai puține.

Și exact acolo, ceea ce părea flexibil în concept ajunge să devină un compromis în execuție.

The living, kitchen and hallway are all part of one continuous space — and that was exactly the starting point of the concept.

From the moment you enter, we introduced a wood structure that gently defines the functions without ever breaking the flow. It is that subtle separation that still keeps everything visually connected. Then, a continuous wall between the dining area and kitchen ties everything together, almost like a quiet thread running through the space.

It feels open, but still structured. Fluid, but still defined.

Still thinking about Italy. ♡

About the endless plates of pasta, the coffee stops that somehow turned into hour-long conversations, the factory tours, the laughter, and all the inspiration packed into a few days with Marca Corona, Ragno powerd by Athena Ceramics.

The funny thing is, I came back with a camera roll full of design details… but my favorite souvenirs are the people. Somewhere between eating way too much, talking about work, life and everything in between, strangers became friends. And that’s the kind of inspiration that stays with you long after the trip is over.

Some experiences stay with you long after the trip is over. This was one of them.

We spent a day at , together with .ro , and somehow it felt like so much more than a factory visit. It was about texture, history, Italian craftsmanship and that beautiful way of building a business that survives generations without losing its identity.

What impressed us most? The small-format tiles. The kind we keep coming back to in our projects, over and over again. Seeing where they come from, how they are made and the story behind them made us appreciate them even more.

We left with a lot of inspiration. And probably a few new obsessions too.

Here we explored different shades of cream to build a space that feels calm, soft and quietly balanced. Everything was designed to slow the atmosphere down and create that peaceful feeling you want in a bedroom.

The main dressing area is seamlessly integrated, keeping the flow clean and functional, without interrupting the serenity of the room.

“Ca să fie” apare de multe ori în proiecte ca o soluție rapidă pentru a completa un spațiu care pare gol sau nefinalizat.

În realitate, de cele mai multe ori nu răspunde unei nevoi reale, ci mai degrabă unei senzații de incomplet. Și exact de aici pornesc multe decizii care nu aduc valoare spațiului, chiar dacă la prima vedere par inofensive.

Some spaces are designed for adults, but truly come alive when you imagine them through a child’s perspective. And on 1st of June, it feels even more meaningful.
