Episode 11 is live – Why MuleSoft? 🚀
In the newest episode of , our colleague Vlad Veltan explores a key topic in modern system architecture and answers an important question: Why MuleSoft?
In a landscape of distributed applications and complex ecosystems, MuleSoft brings clarity through connectivity. It enables teams to design APIs, integrate systems, and create flows that keep data moving seamlessly across platforms.
It connects. scales. orchestrates.
More than just integration, it supports a way of building where components work together, processes evolve faster, and complexity becomes manageable.
At BMW TechWorks Romania, MuleSoft is part of how scalable CRM integrations come to life, supporting the development of connected digital experiences across systems.

This week, we kicked off our partnership with Asociatia Descopera-ti pasiunea in IT (DPIT), and it started exactly how it should: with people meeting, talking, and getting to know each other.
We welcomed 3 amazing teams, each made up of 6 talented high school students, in our hub for their first get-to-know session.
They met their mentors: Ion George Todoran, Ph.D., Andreea Rosu & Edward Vlad
…and had the chance to connect with Alexandru-Catalin Dinis (CTO), who shared more about what we do and how we build things at BMW TechWorks Romania.
It was a simple first step, but an important one.
Curiosity, good questions, and a lot of energy in the room.
Looking forward to seeing what these teams will build in the months ahead.

Yesterday we joined with a great crew of colleagues.
On stage, Alexandru-Catalin Dinis, our CTO, shared insights in “Go Native – What Could Go Wrong?”, while Emil Petru, our CEO, joined a panel of experts exploring the Cluj Business & Tech Landscape.
And the energy didn’t stop there, our booth was full of great conversations, curiosity, and meaningful connections, thanks to our amazing colleagues.
Big kudos to IT DAYS and Today Software Magazine for a well-crafted event.
Proud to be part of a community where we can contribute, connect, and keep learning.

Our community is more than a workplace. It’s a family. And family means kids.
To celebrate this, on June 1st, our colleagues, together with their families and children, came together for a special Children’s Day event, organized alongside .
It was an afternoon full of energy and fun, with creative activities, scout games, small challenges, and plenty of moments that brought everyone closer, kids and adults alike.
Relaxed atmosphere, lots of laughter, and genuine connections. Exactly the kind of moments that define who we are as a community.
Big thanks to , Cluj branch, for bringing the spirit of adventure to life.
This is , and yes, it’s pretty cool to be part of it.
Colorful moments. Shared energy. A day to remember.
Last week, BMW TechWorks Romania welcomed the BMW iX3 to its company fleet, marking another step in our journey towards modern and sustainable mobility.
The iX3 reflects how innovation and everyday experience come together in a natural way, bringing electric mobility closer to how we think, move, and connect. At the same time, it is a project where BMW TechWorks Romania teams have directly contributed, making this moment even more meaningful.
The model has already earned global recognition, winning both the World Car of the Year 2026 and World Electric Vehicle 2026 titles, highlighting the impact of BMW’s next generation of electric mobility.
A new presence, new energy, and a shared sense of moving forward together. Just like everything we build, it extends beyond technology and becomes part of how we shape what comes next.
Last week, was present at the CBS IT Forum in Germany, where our colleague Kyriakos Katselis, from FG-6 Sales & Aftersales, represented us on stage and brought the spirit of our hub into a broader community of ideas.
The discussions connected multiple perspectives around how AI is shifting the way teams approach their work, with Hamed Behrouzi (Product Owner) & Franz Straube (Architect) expanding on the actual changes and the new way of working.
A central theme emerged clearly: AI is no longer just a tool, it is reshaping how work happens. During the session, a video highlighting our perspective on AI was shared, followed by a live exchange where the Vehicle Finder & NICCE teams from FG-6 Sales & Aftersales, together with Elod Balazs, Cluster Head, joined remotely from our hub.
From on stage presence to remote contribution, the conversation became a shared experience. Practical insights, real examples, and different viewpoints came together naturally, showing how workflows evolve once AI becomes part of the process. The focus shifted from technology itself to how it enables new ways of thinking, collaborating, and delivering.
A simple thought that stayed with us:
AI is not the destination, it becomes the road you naturally start taking.
This weekend, joined the parade at Cluj Days 🎉
Together with .klausenburg, our colleagues took part in one of the city’s most vibrant community moments, celebrating connection, energy, and the spirit of Cluj.
Representing , the team brought enthusiasm and a strong sense of belonging, engaging with the local community and contributing to the atmosphere that makes this event so special.
The parade was more than a celebration. It was a reminder of how important it is to stay connected with the community we are part of.
Appreciation goes to all colleagues who joined and represented , as well as to our partners at .klausenburg, for the shared experience.
At BMW TechWorks Romania, our internal AI Community of Practice continues to bring people together around learning and sharing experiences.
Yesterday, more than 50 colleagues joined a new session delivered by Ovidiu Pop and Ion George Todoran, Ph.D., focused on practical AI applications. Ovidiu presented an AI-driven approach to root cause analysis for production incidents, while George shared insights on common challenges when using coding agents like GitHub Copilot and how to address them effectively.
These sessions reflect what makes our culture strong, continuous learning, collaboration, and a growing community where people openly exchange ideas and experiences.
This initiative is actively supported by our leadership, Emil Petru, CEO, and Marian Haus, COO, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and development.
