Hello Edge Design Talks friends,
Last year we would have gathered again to discover cool designers and friends. We were just days away from making it happen in Spring and we were really looking forward to what we had planned as our best edition yet. As you all know, that couldn’t happen. Then we thought we could do it in autumn. We got our hopes up again and probably yours too, but once more we had to cancel our plans due to all uncertainties.
When we look now to March 2021 we still see a lot of unclear things. How many people could we host in one place, if any? How would people from Romania and abroad travel to Cluj? What events would be allowed to make and how would they look? The answers to these questions change so fast that it is impossible for us to plan an event that we can be proud of and where you can have the cool experiences that we have managed to create in the past.
At this point, promising, yet again, a new date for our Edge Design Talks seems also a thing covered in too much uncertainty. So we will announce the new dates once the world gets rid of the current situation, when we can freely travel and meet without any restrictions.
We have always organized EDT with a “Go big, or go home” attitude so we have to reiterate our position that we believe in creating amazing real and not virtual experiences. We think that everyone wants to share this event with their friends, see their smiles and laughter, enjoy a drink with them and gossip together after the talks. We do not want to make something half-hearted or just to ‘keep it going’, so this is why we are not considering ‘moving’ our event online.
However, we are planning cool things for 2021. So stay tuned!
Until then, we are offering refunds to everyone who has bought a ticket with the hopes that we will see each other as soon as possible at a new EDT edition. You will receive an email from bilete.ro with the refund procedure after the 15th of January.
Have a great 2021 and hopefully a much better year than the last one.

September is almost here and it was high time we came up with news. Unfortunately, not the ones we wanted to give you. 🥺
Hopefully, next year's March will be kind to us and we can meet in person between 12 and 14.
While we know that many events have moved online, we believe that the true power of Edge Design Talks is in the overall live experience which can be achieved only by being physically present. We also find it unfair for our amazing participants to move the conference online, since they have expected a different experience than an online one.
