Light, shadows and snow ... up in the mountains ... At 2024 m altitude the road is closed during the winter due to heavy snow. It is the highest mountain pass in Romania, it was build in 1970 to 1974, it is 91 km in length between Vidraru Barage and Cârțișoara village, and it is a connection between Curtea de Argeș and DN1 connection between Sibiu and Brașov.

📣📸National Road 7C(DN7C) also known as Transfăgărășan is a connection road between Muntenia(south region of Romania) and Transilvania (West Region of Romania) through 🗻 Făgăraș Mountains, the highest in Romania. 🛣The road has its highest point at the tunnel near Lake Bâlea, at 2042m altitude. It is the second highest road in Romania.

Vidraru Lake, created in 1965 with the Vidraru Barrage on Arges river to produce electricity. It is situated in Arges County situated between the mountains Muntii Fruntii and Masivul Ghitu.
The surface of the lake measures 8.93 square km, the length of the barrage is 10.3 km and the widest point is 2.2 km. The lake is 155m deep.
