Since 2002 WE RISE LIKE FIRE! WE RISE LIKE FLAMES! In 2004, Guerrillas released their first record, the demo entitled "First Strike".
Founded in 2002 in Cluj-Napoca, GUERRILLAS is one of the most representative bands of the hardcore-metal movement in Romania. Influenced by bands such as Sepultura, Soulfly, and Biohazard, their music is defined by strong thrash riffs combined with heavy breakdowns and explosive voices, expressing an authentic hardcore attitude. With Fire as the determining factor, the concept of Guerrillas lyrics
promotes struggle as an essential action, truth as an absolute value, unity as a collective force, and freedom in spirit and thought, condemning ignorance, hypocrisy, and stupidity that characterize modern society. Without belonging to political, social, or religious ideologies, Guerrillas believes in the creative power of man, urging unity and awareness that freedom begins in the minds of each of us. The live experience with Guerrillas is characterized by a strong and aggressive sound, in a direct and uncompromising approach. For the band, music creates the context that brings us together, offering the experience in which we can truly be ourselves both in expression and in what we feel, is the form of communication that transcends any limitation that the social system imposes on us. In the following period, Guerrillas gave numerous concerts in Romania and held his first concert outside Romania in 2006 at Hunderground Feszt, Hungary. The band also played in the opening lineup with bands such as Sepultura, Born From Pain, Blind Myself, and Ektomorf. In 2008 he released his first album "Guerrilla Spirit", followed by a series of concerts in Romania and Hungary ("Guerrilla Spirit Tour" as headliner and "Allied Force Tour" with Superbutt). The video for the song "Full Force" is released in 2009, after which the first European tours take place: "First European Tour 2009" (Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Germany) and "Balkan Assault Tour 2009" (Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Serbia). In 2010 and 2011 Guerrillas held club concerts and participated in festivals in Romania and Western Europe (Hungary, Serbia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and the Netherlands) as headliners, but also with bands such as Pro-Pain, Cadaveres, Superbutt, Insane, Born From Pain, First Blood, The Haunted, Cataract, Madball, Skindred, and others. In 2012, the band released the EP "Together Forever Stronger", along with the video for the song of the same name, followed by a series of promotional concerts both in the country and in Hungary and Germany. Between 2013 and 2014, the band underwent several changes of composition, and in 2015 Guerrillas started working on a new record, together with the new members. In October 2016, the LP "The Fire Revolution" was released. The discographic material was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Live Set Studio in Cluj-Napoca. Along with Commandante and Jenci, two young guitarists, Blunt and Moga, contributed to both the composition and the performance, and the lyrics were made in excellent collaboration with Mistah White. The graphic concept was developed by Fetyko Gabor. The first two singles from the album released as a video, respectively lyric video, are "The Curse" and "Time to Rock'n'Roll". The lineup of the band undergoes several changes in the following years, and at the end of 18 years of experience, the band holds an anniversary concert in the full pandemic, together with guitarists Sergo and Blunt, called Live On Line.
