When you consider buying a house, we kindly encourage you to consider measuring the level of radon before the final purchase and take action to reduce the concentration if it is needed. Why? After smoking, is considered the second cause of risk in releasing pulmonary cancer. This fact was clearly demonstrated by many cohort studies on miners from uranium and non-uranium mines. In 2005 a big European pooled study clearly showed the risk of lung cancer due to indoor radon exposure for the general population. Considering also the preliminary results for other Romanian zones (73 Bq/m3), an interval of 60-80 Bq/m3 is suggested for Romanian average radon exposure. In Sol, we have a 14 Bq/m3 average/week concentration and the highest point reached 42 Bq/m3. is a healthy place to live in, you are exposed to the light, beautifully, not to indoor high radon concentration. The construction industry’s efficiency gains have nearly flatlined over the last 70 years, whereas other industries have seen dramatic improvement. According to McKinsey Global Institute, “Reinventing Construction: A Route to Higher Productivity,” February 2017, construction is poorly digitalized ranking 21 out of 22 industries studied. There is a correlation between the lack of digitization and the lack of efficiency gains that cannot be ignored. The construction industry needs a more efficient approach, and the tools for that approach are increasingly available through digital technologies.
