Sometimes excellent news takes a bit to soak in 💧😌

Back in October, our project in development, nava mamă, directed by Ana Vîjdea (), won the main award at Co-Pro Market: the Saxon Award for Best Documentary Project by a Female Director.

We’re grateful to the jury for this recognition, to the selection committee for choosing the project, and to the tireless team who orchestrated the event.

We’re also thankful to everyone who has been nurturing the project so far: our backbone - the crew and production team, as well as those who supported it in various crucial ways (, , CNC România, , among so many others).

We’re at DOK Leipzig Co-Pro Market for the next few days with our project, nava mamă.
It feels a bit surreal to realize how much this tiny seedling of a film has grown over the last few years thanks to its brave protagonists, the small but dedicated team behind it, and the strong support system built through the programs it’s been part of (IDFA Project Space, Mediterranean Film Institute Doc Lab, Institute of Documentary Film Ex Oriente, Astra Film Festival Film Lab).

Our participation in this event is made possible in part thanks to UPFAR ARGOA, whose support we’re very grateful for.

With this image, which we embrace as our logo, we are tip-toeing toward our own visual identity.

Several months ago, we found out that we had been selected as beneficiaries of the funding scheme aimed at accelerating the digitalization of film production and distribution.
