BURP

Hey, frens, so this happened yesterday evening 😁

We were at the Botanical Garden in Bucharest for a festival and bumped into this lovely gal wearing.... a BURP belt (OMG, OMG, the joy 🥹).

Of course I had to take a pic - because I couldn't believe my eyes and we all know photos don't lie 😅

So here it is - another , taking us down memory lane... I mean, we stopped making these around 2010/2011, so I guess it's safe to say she was wearing a vintage BURP belt 😄

In the happy chaos, I forgot to ask for the gal's name, so please help with a tag if you see this ❤️

Gimme baby one more time... Yeah, we know that's what Britney used to say, but our Undecided Rabbit also asked for one more chance to see the fab world of Bucharest - and we accepted, mostly thanks to our long-time fashionista friend Cristina, who was looking for a belt to accessorize at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel launch. 🍀

So we browsed the archives and found this little guy 🐰🐰 (double guy, OK) who behaved pretty well, from what we heard. He's actually not a big trouble-maker, just a rabbit who cannot decide on most things in life - and overdoses on colorful make-up. We are sure that Cristina's influence is going to help with that. Pink eye-shadow? That is so 2001 or something... oh, actually, he might have a few things in common with Britney, after all 😅

Yesterday we were saying... get out there in the snow and enjoy it! Here is proof that kids do cold weather much better than anyone else :)

Hey, babies! Loving the snow, the big big snow outside? Yup, we enjoy it a lot, too, although we bundle up and still feel the cold sometimes - but the fun snowflakes and the red noses and the happy eyes are worth it!

Plus we can eat lots of chocolate these days - no more counting calories when it's cold outside, right? :)

Here's our Scandinavian Girl showing up and telling us to stop complaining and being sissies - you get strong by confronting the chill, bit by bit, bite by bite. You know that the Nordic people keep the little ones outside even if it's freezing? (That is how you get those lovely rosy cheeks, by the way :))

There is nothing we like more than some burping (OK, make that rainbow throw-up) accessories. So this Goodies by Serebe post made our day and it will probably do the same for you, if we know you well enough.

Hi, cuties! It's almost the end of January and we simply cannot let this month pass without celebrating BURP and you guys :)

It's the month when we started the project and we can still remember the fun, the energy and the good vibes we got every day. As we suck at maths, we admit there's no way we could say how much of it came from making BURP stuff and how much was related to meeting you, talking to you or simply seeing you on the street, while wearing a little something we made.

So, together with Common Girl pictured here, we'd like to say "Cheers!" and pour some virtual champagne in your glass. Or, if you prefer, we'll send you a big kiss - but beware, it'll be smoochyyy and we might even steal that chocolate bar in your pocket while we do it (once a BURP kiddo, always a BURP kiddo :P ).

*Later edit - although it didn't even cross our minds we are very upset that some people aggressively suggested today that animal cruelty was involved in any way and we are deeply hurt. Especially since Chotronette actively supports animal rights and has never used real leather & fur and will never do so because it's against our principles. In this particular case no baby deer was even 'used' courtesy of Photoshop. :)

Baby, it's cold outside.. and we love it! :) The snow, the chilly air, the red noses, the fun times...

All we wanna do is play in the snow and then get home and stay warm, drink tea and hug our favourite toys. Of course we cannot do that, as we have to be responsible kiddos and work hard for the money... but we can dream, right? So are you ever going to grow up? - They will ask :) Hummm... how about nope?

Hi, cuties!

You're probably more adult than we are, but sometimes we just feel like skipping work (yes, for a full day - make that two, actually!) to go on a trip with someone we like to some place nice where we can eat croissants, play in the park and hug monuments - or each other, if that is more acceptable behaviour :P

Of course we cannot do that today, but we can drool over this doodle we made some time ago for Hello Communication.

Do you ever let your spontaneous side take charge and buy the ticket, make the move? Come on, be an inspiration for us! :)

Babies, happy to see you again, even if its computer-mediated all the way!! :D

And so happy to tell you how we found magic in the ordinary, yup, a phrase we kinda stole from our lovely friend Kitten (you know her, the T-shirt magician) Cristina. Bad, BURP, bad! :)

Anyway, getting back to Kitten, this summer was great – and fall is the same – because we got to meet her again, after some time, and we are so grateful and joyful that we still have friends we met in our BURP beginnings, 10 years ago. Here she is, strolling around the city and with her lovely Sean, a curly new friend of ours that seems to take further the drawing talent.

Even more, we also got to stumble upon another old-time friend, Ioana, whom we first met at the Faculty of Architecture – see before and after pics. These meetings were somehow connected to the project we’re in at this moment, Gradina cu Oameni, which makes us double/triple happy. It means we still have things in common, we still care about similar stuff and we still find ways to connect with each other.

And most of all, besides being their own charming selves, which is something stable in time, these girls don’t seem to look a bit different from their younger images! Do they just ? :)

So nice, don’t you think?
