INNER SYNTHESIS_________v2.0

A surreal virtual being that embodies an A.I. generated poem and questions the shifting nature of ‘identity’ in the interactions with ‘online social spaces’.
How is this technologically accelerated phenomenon changing the meaning of ‘self’? Where does the physical ‘me’ ends and the virtual ‘me’ begins? Where does this ‘Inner Synthesis’ start?
‘Inner Synthesis’ is an artistic conceptual framework that explores the shifting dynamics of identity in online social spaces through the experimental use of emergent technologies.

The resulting AR artwork envisions a surreal virtual being, the embodiment of an A.I. generated poem that conveys both introspection and open debate regarding the ‘identity dilemma’ within the emerging online social spaces: social networking sites, online forums, and chat rooms, multiplayer video games, virtual reality and metaverse.
The collective creative process invokes the nature of social cyberspaces by using similar building blocks and creative emergent technologies from state-of-the-art augmented reality, artificial intelligence and advanced avatar-creation

🧑🏻‍🚀🛰️🤍 - EU research -CULTURE TESTBEDS FOR PERFORMING ARTS AND NEW TECHNOLOGY + Teatrul Naţional Craiova

Regizoarea Catinca Drăgănescu alături de echipa studioului Augmented Space Agency (Ciprian Făcăeru – scenografie, Sabin Șerban și Dan Făcăeru - programare) se află zilele acestea la rezidență de creație de la Azkuna Zentroa Bilbao pentru a prototipa soluția propusă în proiectul AcuTe pentru realizarea spectacolului ”Reconstituirea”.
Instalația va fi prezentată publicului internațional miercuri, pe 28 septembrie, în cadrul Zilelor Deschise.

Pornind de la filmul cu același nume regizat de Lucian Pintilie, „Reconstituirea” este un proiect de teatru digital dezvoltat la Teatrul Național „Marin Sorescu” din Craiova.
Spectacolul va avea premiera în vara anului 2024.

"You Are Another Me—A Cathedral of the Body" exhibition returns home for the Timișoara 2023 European Capital of Culture official launch. We are pleased to collaborate with Kunsthalle Bega, an alternative art space from Timisoara, on this event, and we look forward to sharing more news soon.

Continuăm seria interviurilor FAR cu Ciprian Făcăeru, co-fondator și directorul de creație al studioului de XR Augmented Space Agency Augmented Space Agency . Ați putut surprinde proiectele ASA la RADAR, dar și în creaturile ilustrate pentru XR Month . Proiectele lor au ajuns și la Bienala de la Veneția din acest an. Ciprian chiar se recomandă un „arhitect XR”, iar ambiția lui este să redirecționeze ”evoluția tehnologiilor și nu invers”.
„Procesul creativ e preponderent digital: producție digitală, programare și infrastructura tehnologică, senzori, cabluri și dispaly-uri, pe scurt noțiuni deosebit de tehnice, aceste aspecte uneori pot deturna valoarea artistică a proiectelor către un limbaj rigid căruia îi lipsește un spectru de comunicare emoțională cu publicul.”

Could we possibly expect to discover new features of human connection in the world of VR? Josie Thaddeus-Johns of Frieze looks at the work of Adina Pintilie presented at the New Gallery of the Romanian Institute for Cultural and Humanistic Research - a VR installation conceived by the artist in collaboration with brilliant VR designers from Augmented Space Agency.

“Adina Pintilie’s VR work is effective not because of the technological trickery at work, but because the viewer’s understanding of what makes these humans tick is so intimately portrayed. […] The sense of being another person within a simulation can be uncanny, uncomfortable and, frankly, dark. Hers is a feat in any medium, but especially rare in VR.”
