A consensus was found on establishing a new cash payment celling at 7.000€ levelling the playing field across Europe 💸: that's good news for the European jewellery sector!

DESIGN | Interviu cu DAVID SANDU: Assamblage Jewelry Gallery, o galerie de bijuterie contemporană din întreaga lume • Lifestyle • Zile și Nopți DAVID SANDU, fondatorul Școlii de Bijuterie Contemporană Assamblage, pregătește lansarea unei galerii de bijuterie internațională Assamblage Jewelry Gallery la Assamblage Home.

David Sandu Jewelry - the first Romanian artist who made contemporary jewelry his main field of interest and expression - has joined the jury of the Legnica Jewellery Festival Silver in 2023. He begins his apprenticeship as a jewelry designer at the age of 13 in the studio of Vlad Gherghiceanu (sculptor and jewelry artist), and soon gets in touch with the classic techniques of author jewelry from the aesthetic and conceptual perspective of contemporary art. After graduating UNARTE – The National Arts University in Bucharest, he works as an independent designer and in 2006 opens the first contemporary jewelry gallery in Romania and participates in numerous international exhibitions. In 2010, David Sandu sets the foundations of Assamblage - Școala de Bijuterie Contemporană and Assamblage National Jewelry Association, playing a major role in the formation of a new generation of artists and designers. 💎 In 2020, he became a founding member and curator of the international event Romanian Jewelry Week, alongside Ioana Andrei and Valentina Buzamurga, an event already at its fourth edition.
