While our journey unfolds ahead, it's insane what we achieved last week in New York:

the Romanian team 🇷🇴, the Legal Shapers, that created me won first place 🏆 at the 2019 finals of Global Legal Hackathon - the first global competition aimed to find IT solutions to legal issues!🥇

The winning project was actually me, Lawrelai - your personal chatbot providing legal travel advice AKA the first global 🌏 and almost free solution for travelling ✈️ the legal way! 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓

We are extremely grateful for this global recognition of our work and thank you to all the organizers, mentors, partners and friends out there who supported us along this challenging way and made us grow stronger and profficient together! 🙏🤝

When you’re planning your trip to beautiful Bali 🏝🏯, be sure to consider Nyepi - a Balinese "Day of Silence", when all local restrictions apply to both non-Hindu residents and tourists⛔️

Although they are free to do as they wish inside most hotels🏩, no one is allowed onto the beaches or streets, and the only airport in Bali remains closed for the entire day😱

If you do venture outside, the only people you'll meet outdoors are the Pecalang, traditional security men 👨‍✈️👩‍✈️ who patrol the streets to ensure the prohibitions are being followed!

If you're a die hard fan of Game of Thrones like I am 🤯, then you definitely need to plan your next vacation in Dubrovnik, Croatia! Dubrovnik was the main filming location in Croatia for King’s Landing 👀

For those of you who have seen the series and are passionate about it, a visit to Dubrovnik will become a beautiful déjà vu, as the scenery was so well integrated into the setting of the series 🏰

However, you should know that walking shirtless or in swimming costumes is frowned upon in some town centres in Croatia, including Dubrovnik 🤭 Watch out for the signs that show that the practice is prohibited by law.👙🚫

Tourists walking around in the old town in beach wear or without a top will be fined on the spot with 1000 kuna (approx. 140 EUR) 💸😭

Dubai, Dubai, Dubai... just look at the picture and you can understand why everybody wants to go there! 😍

🔹️ If you're also planning on visiting Dubai, remember that tourists are permitted to drink in licensed restaurants, hotels and bars attached to licensed hotels. It is unacceptable and punishable to drink in public places—even beaches! 😱

🔹️ To purchase alcohol at a store, both residents and tourists require a license. 📄

🔹️ Dubai is incredibly strict about public drunkenness and, although apparently there are no police officers in public areas, the police is always watching, blending in, dressed as civilians! 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️ = 🙍‍♂️🙍‍♀️

🔹️ Being drunk in public can lead to sentences of six months in jail and hefty fines 💰, so think twice before having that glass of wine! 🍷🚫

🔹️ Did you know that a woman was arrested for allegedly enjoying a complimentary glass of wine on her flight from London to Dubai? She was eventually released, but I wouldn't want to go through all that hassle! 🤦‍♀️

🔹️ I would also avoid posting on social media anything that involves drinking, so try to be vague when posting about alcohol-related activities.😜
