Alin built Crossroads around a place that no longer exists. Hanul Zlătari had everyone passing through, merchants, soldiers, bakers. He wanted something that felt that way too. Familiar the moment it hits, different by the end.

Bodega Tripcovici had polenta with sparrows on the menu. We had some questions. Cardamom, carrot, wild pepper, tea, this is what we came up with for The Sparrows Know.
The hard part isn’t finding a good drink. It’s picking just one.
