We're 95% flowing ready
Vesti bune! We're 95% flowing ready 👏
FLOW! Don't just Go with the FLOW, Be the FLOW!

Daca ai uita in ce an te-ai nascut, ai sti cati ani ai?

"Projectile fragments, archived and conserved, keep the memory of war intact. A cold, long and unstoppable war. An acid, chemical rain on the background abandoned in warm greys, printed in latent remorse. Anxiety was born urban: being and lack of being. The anthropomorphous and zoomorphic mélange, like razor-sharp cuts, slide surgically towards nowhere, on an ice slide with no beginning and no ending. A never-ending loop. What is ahead, the end? Or is there hope in washing away the evil? With how much caustic soda and in how many waters should the washing be made? How do you save yourself?"

”Keep You Alive” - an art project, a hybrid physical and digital experience produced by Halucinarium Art On for Unilever South-East Europe (January 2020).
You've come to the time when you have to admit that your concept of reality is continuously changing. You are connected, but somehow you reached the maximum loneliness level, you are accessing new territories and subjects, but somehow you feel everything is superficial, you reached the highest level of knowledge, but somehow you feel you know nothing at all. You often ask yourself if on the way you lost something in the tumultuous path through a life guided by ever-increasing technology. Has being human in such a reality became the hardest part?
Don't be scared about the future and evolvement, don't loose yourself in the process, connect and reconnect with you with and without technology, access your own reality and be present and active in the collective reality, adapt, adjust, express yourself, live your emotions and do good for you, for others and last but not least for the planet.

Developed around the idea of interconnectivity, it analyzes how individual interactions can produce collective outcomes at different scales, testing new models of synergistic behaviour mediated by technology and identifying coherence patterns.
A circuit of interconnected masks howling like wolves are asking to be fed with emotions. Once superimposed on the human body, they analyze the emotional state of each user, as well as the emotional cohesion of the group. Each mask offers different soundscapes, inducing antagonistic psychological states. Users need to override their personal context in order to emotionally synchronize. The masks are connected to a biophotonics experiment in the bunker of the Center for Advanced Laser Technologies in Bucharest. The degree of emotional cohesion of the users connected to the installation controls the frequency and intensity with which the laser feeds a euglena population. While functioning as living experimental subjects, the users are also real-time observers of the experiment.

SACRED EGG is an interactive installation that swallows your head and feeds on your energy to stay alive. After connecting your head to the egg or***ce, you can determine the actions of the artwork and become part of it. The tubular embryo inside starts to breathe and keeps breathing as long as you stay connected. The moment you take your head out of the egg, it reacts violently, screaming, throwing triangles and eventually dying. Sacred Egg points to the continuous present in the making, it is about potentiality, perpetually repetitive but insufficient physicality, continuous death and revival. While offering the illusion of control, it steals your senses, absorbing your attention. Looking from behind, all there is left of you is a beheaded hanging body, voided of individual will and responding only to the feeding needs of an insatiable hybrid egg.. SACRED EGG is part of INSATIABLE MACHINES | Body responsive installations feeding on humans, a solo show by SAINT MACHINE, curated by Carmen Casiuc.

I, HUMAN is a body installation of physical sculptures with a virtual core using human empathy as content to influence the feeding conditions of microorganisms, and electric light as content carrier. Developed around the idea of interconnectivity, it analyzes how individual interactions can produce collective outcomes at different scales, testing new models of synergistic behaviour mediated by technology and identifying coherence patterns. It is a metaphor for our evolution as a species, which may depend on our capacity to empathize.
