From 2055 back to today 4Futures offered a powerful shift in perspective.

By experiencing four possible futures, participants engaged with complex topics across climate, society and global systems, turning insight into reflection and dialogue.

What if you could hear from the future? How would that change the decisions you make today?

At our EY Four Futures event, participants were taken to the year 2055, transforming climate scenarios into real, lived consequences shaped by today’s decisions across climate, resources and society.

🌍The discussion highlighted a structural challenge: current systems and incentives are not designed for long-term change, while traditional models of value creation are no longer fit for today’s reality.

🌍Driving meaningful change requires rethinking value and enabling conversations that connect insight with action.

Felicităm Junior Achievement România pentru impactul constant în formarea tinerilor și pentru modul în care transformă educația într-o experiență relevantă pentru viitor.

Ne bucurăm că am contribuit la acest moment prin participarea lui Alex Milcev pe scenă, unde a susținut un mesaj despre importanța educației antreprenoriale și a premiat una dintre echipele remarcabile ale competiției Gen-E.

În acest context, am acordat premiul Best Financial Plan Award echipei Soft Petals Atelier, de la Liceul Tehnologic Dimitrie Filișanu din Filiași, pentru un proiect remarcabil.

Five themes from The Achilles' Heel of Defense, our BSDA 2026 side event with Aspen Institute Romania and OPIA Romania

Today’s closed-room conversation brought together public institutions, industry leaders, academia and allied partners around a single question: how does Romania convert the most ambitious defence investment cycle in its modern history into actual capability?

Five themes emerged.
➡️ Talent is the strategic bottleneck, not budget. The challenge is shared across NATO and Romania is well placed to lead on it, not lag.
➡️ Defence careers need to start being designed, not just advertised. Gap year programmes, university partnerships, transparent pathways and a serious role for reserves are all on the table.
➡️Romania's engineering and cybersecurity talent is already a strategic asset. The opportunity is to connect it to defence on terms that work for industry, government and the talent itself.
➡️Industrial collaboration and offset are know-how transfer mechanisms, if we choose to treat them that way.
➡️Cross-sector is not a slogan. It looks like the room we had today: MApN, MAE, the Ministry of Economy, the Defence Senate Committee, Romarm, Thales, the EIB and the Military Technical Academy in the same conversation.

🌱 Faptele mici pot avea un impact mare.

Împreună cu Fundația United Way România, am petrecut o zi de voluntariat plină de energie și zâmbete, având ca obiectiv amenajarea curții școlii gimnaziale din comuna Sălciile, județul Prahova. Am plantat copaci și flori alături de copii, am asamblat câteva bănci și ne-am bucurat împreună de rezultatele muncii.

Activitatea a avut loc în cadrul programului „Aventura prin lectură”, susținut de EY pentru al treilea an. Pentru noi a fost mai mult decât o acțiune ecologică, a fost o lecție despre grijă, responsabilitate și viitor.

Mulțumim tuturor colegilor care s-au implicat și au ales să contribuie, prin timpul și energia lor, la această experiență!
