Indiferent de cetatenie, documentele de calatorie trebuie sa fie valabile minim 60 de zile peste perioada maxima de sedere sau peste valabilitatea vizei de intrare (daca este necesara viza).

Astfel, cetatenii romani pot intra pe teritoriul Turciei doar in baza pasaportului national valabil minim 150 de zile de la data intrarii in Turcia: 90 de zile (perioada maxima de sedere) + 60 de zile.
