Policy Center for Roma and Minorities

Fundația „Policy Center for Roma and Minorities”, în colaborare cu programul ”ROMACT” Romania, au organizat în perioada 22-23 Octombrie 2024, evenimentul de lansare a ”Asociației Serviciilor Publice de Asistență Socială de la Nivel Local” (A.S.P.A.S.). Evenimentul s-a bucurat de participarea unui număr de 60 de reprezentanți ai serviciilor publice de asistență socială din țară , de reprezentanți ai Consiliului Economic și Social și de reprezentanți ai Ministerului Muncii și Solidarității Sociale.
Asociația a fost creată în cadrul proiectului ”Empower the Local Stakeholders for Advocacy”, proiect finanțat de către Comisia Europeană prin ”European Roma Grassroot Organisation” Network și implementat de Fundația ”Policy Center for Roma and Minorities”, și cu sprijinul programului ROMACT, un Program comun al Consiliului Europei și al Comisiei Europene.
A.S.P.A.S. este o asociație formată din servicii publice de asistență socială de la nivel local cu personalitate juridică și compartimentele de asistență socială din cadrul aparatului de specialitate al primarului. Scopul asociației este armonizarea și perfecționarea activității pentru implementarea politicilor sociale. Ea reprezintă un centru de resurse pentru toate serviciile publice de asistență socială de pe teritoriul României, indiferent de forma de organizare.


The ”Policy Center for Roma and Minorities” Foundation, in cooperation with the ”ROMACT” Romania program, organized on October 22-23, 2024, the launch event of the ”Association of Public Social Assistance Services at the Local Level” (A.S.P.A.S). The event was attended by 60 representatives of public social assistance services from all over the country, representatives of Economic and Social Council and representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity.
The association was created within the framework of the "Empower the Local Stakeholders for Advocacy" project, a project financed by the European Commission through the "European Roma Grassroot Organization" Network and implemented by the "Policy Center for Roma and Minorities" Foundation, in collaboration with the ROMACT Program, a joint Program of the Council of Europe and the European Commission.
A.S.P.A.S is an association formed by public social assistance services at the local level with legal personality and the social assistance departments within the specialized apparatus of the mayor. The purpose of the association is to harmonize and improve the activity for the implementation of social policies. It represents a resource hub for all public social assistance services on the territory of Romania, regardless of the form of organization.
