’s Craiova facility is progressing on schedule, with equipment installation and production preparations underway for an autumn 2026 launch.

The official opening is set for summer 2026, and Diehl has started employee training to ensure operational excellence from day one. At full capacity, the facility will employ up to 500 people and produce aircraft components that strengthen Diehl Aviation’s footprint across Europe.

The event brought together a high-level panel including representatives from the Ministry of Finance, members of the Parliamentary Budget and Finance Committees, as well as senior leaders from the real estate and investment industry.

Drawing on nearly two decades of experience in real estate development, construction, and property management, Sorin brought a broader perspective to the debate — placing the urgency of REIT legislation within the larger context of Romania's economic competitiveness, energy costs, and its ability to attract meaningful foreign investment.

We’re getting close!

The project at the facility in Craiova is entering its final stretch, and you can really feel it on site. Spaces are coming together, finishes are taking shape, and all the pieces are starting to look like a complete picture.

There’s still work to do, but the end is clearly in sight—and it’s exciting to see everything built over the past months turning into a fully functional space.

Global Vision, in partnership with , announces the start of development for a new retail park in Constanța, expanding their commercial real estate footprint in Romania.

Designed as a high-quality, sustainable retail destination, the project is built to meet evolving consumer needs while generating operational value for tenants and the wider community.

Phase 1 highlights:
• 35,000 sqm land plot
• 2,300 sqm anchor space for a leading food retail chain
• 4,000 sqm commercial gallery

Construction of Phase 1 is scheduled to commence in Q3 2026, with delivery targeted for the second half of next year. The subsequent two phases will further scale the project, adding approximately 7,000 sqm of additional retail gallery space, including entertainment uses, alongside around 10,000 sqm allocated to a DIY store operator, significantly expanding the overall commercial offering

As part of its strategic pipeline across Romania, Global Vision’s Land Development division has initiated the authorization process for a 13,000 sqm commercial development in Drobeta Turnu Severin 🏬.

Carried out on behalf of one of Romania’s leading retail chains, this project highlights the continued confidence our partners place in Global Vision to deliver end-to-end land development solutions ⚙️.

Situated in the city’s primary commercial zone, Drobeta Turnu Severin, home to around 80,000 residents, this development will enhance access to shopping and essential services for the local community.

🏗️ Progress Update #4

The project timeline at the facility in Craiova continues on track, with major elements nearing finalization.

The exterior enclosures have been fully finalized, and the HVAC, compressed air, and fire protection systems are 90% complete.

Work is now starting on office flooring, while interior finishes on the upper floor move ahead in parallel with ongoing electrical and sanitary installations.
