Yesterday, on RADIO FRANCE INTERNATIONALE, RFI, our colleague Lorena Ciobanu, together with Alina Sirbu, Partner at Arthur Hunt Romania, discussed a highly relevant topic currently on the agenda of Romanian companies: pay transparency.

Alongside the moderator Constantin Rudnitchi, they explored:

👉 the impact of the Pay Transparency Directive on the Romanian business environment
👉 the new obligations introduced for both employers and employees
👉 whether companies in Romania are prepared for the June 7 deadline, when national legislation is expected to be in place
👉 the key steps organizations need to take to ensure compliance with the new requirements

“AI can inform, rank, and flag - but a human must own the decision. Documented AI-related incidents nearly doubled globally between 2024 and 2025, a trajectory that reflects precisely this gap between deployment speed and governance readiness”, says our colleague Mihai Voicu, in an interview with Romania Insider.

The regulatory framework is already largely defined at the European level through the AI Act, MiCA, and DORA, providing a common playing field for companies that develop or use AI, crypto, and blockchain solutions.

The real challenge is no longer the absence of rules, but how these are embedded into the product, internal processes, and business solutions from the very beginning.

One key point highlighted by Mihai is that many companies mistakenly assume that compliance obligations rest solely with the technology provider. In reality, liability sits with the company that implements and uses these systems.

This month is about a new chapter for us: , our new office.

For the past few years, we have worked from a charming villa on Părintele Galeriu street, built in 1898 in the French neoclassical style, once the residence of the Râșnoveanu family. It was a space with a lot of character, and an important part of our journey.

At the same time, our team has grown, and we needed a space better suited to our current scale.

It is a modern, bright, sustainable, and flexible space that supports our ideas, our creativity, and our way of doing things. More than a change of address, it’s about having a space that fits what we do now.

Today, we open a chapter in our journey and can’t wait to welcome visitors to our new office!
