On November 1st, we open the Sonic Turn event series with a night of LIVE concerts. Three international music projects oriented towards improvisation and experiment, with a strong transcultural and political dimension, will take the stage at Control Club.

Praed (Lebanon/Switzerland)
Praed mainly explores the territory of Arabic popular music (β€œShaabi”) and its connections with other psychedelic and hypnotic genres such as free jazz, space jazz, and psychedelic rock, among others, reflecting the complex fabric of Egyptian society. Over the years, they have built an extensive global network of collaborations with musicians from around the world. The band has two core members: Raed Yassin (keyboards, laptop, electronics, vocals) and Paed Conca (clarinet, electric bass, electronics).

Yunis (Egypt)
Egyptian composer and producer, Yunis investigates the links between the musical traditions of the Nile Delta and contemporary electronic languages. His music creates bridges between ritual, tradition and experiment, between electro chaabi (mahraganat) and the abstract spaces of synthesizers.

AL.Ehtifal Project (Romania/Syria/Iran/India)
Al.Ehtifal is a collective project bringing together artists from Romania, Syria, Iran, and India, shaping a plurivocal sonic dialogue. Their music is based on free improvisation, where diverse instruments and traditions meet and transform one another. The result is a celebration of transculturality and a reflection on mobility and solidarity through sound.

🎟 Ticket info will be available soon!

RSVP: Al. Ehtifal (live), Praed (live), Yunis (live)
