We – the Signal Modelling and Analysis Laboratory, coordinated by Ana Nicolae and the Spatial Audio Innovation Lab, coordinated by Prof. Victor Popa – were delighted to collaborate with ArtivistRecords on “Revelator,” a project that bridges two parallel realities of the same artist: the stage and the backstage.
This immersive experience surrounds the audience with sound from every direction, shifting them from passive listeners into active participants within the performance itself. Thus, the sound design was created in collaboration with Campus Research Institute and Zeedo Shop, based on technologies developed in audio research laboratories.
Initiatives like this reflect our continued commitment to experimentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the advancement of immersive audio technologies.
