The art of still frames II

Golden light on stone, scooters echoing through the streets and music drifting through the evening air. A few moments from Rome.

A few hours wandering through Procida, following narrow streets, faded facades, old Fiats and the smell of salt in the air.

Some places are best remembered this way.

Procida, Italy.

A quiet Roman morning.

Before the cafĂŠs fill, before the crowds arrive, before the city settles into its rhythm.

Mornings in Rome

Chasing good light usually starts long before the city wakes up.

For photography, “packing light” still means bringing a camera, lenses, a laptop, chargers, batteries, and a few other essentials. ☕️

Having a bag that fits everything while keeping it organized and easy to access makes those early mornings a little easier.

Lately, I’ve been carrying the PGYTECH OneGo Roamer Tote Backpack 18L everywhere—from airports and train stations to sunrise photo walks—and it’s quickly become one of the bags I reach for most when traveling.

If you’re been considering one, Prime Day (June 23rd - June 26th) will include discounts of up to 50% OFF on selected

Florence in the last moments of light—the one that exists for a few quiet minutes between day and night.

Between the sea and the volcano, Naples unfolds in layers.

Light and shadow.

Crowded streets and quiet moments.

A city that never seems to stop moving, even when the evening settles over it.

Florence, between paintings and moments.

A city that feels less like a destination and more like a story unfolding slowly—through quiet corners, fading light, artists at work, and moments hidden between the crowds.

The art of still frames.

Long evenings at Giardino delle Rose, passing music under warm lights and Odeon — still my favorite place in Firenze. A cinema inside a bookshop, or maybe a bookshop inside a cinema. I still can’t decide.

Rome in warm light and small moments.

Scooters passing the Colosseum, quiet side streets after the rain, empty tables before dinner, late sunsets over the river.

A few frames from days that felt slow in the best way.
