Bogdan Avramescu participated at the Online Banking Gala organized by FinMedia. Allevo received the Best Performance in Banking Solutions 2025 award. And Bogdan took part of a panel debate about the digital banking and the role of instant payments in euro.

Happy to announce Allevo received an award at the 28th edition of FinMedia's Online Banking Gala for its partnership with ING Romania: "Best performance in banking solutions 2025".

An award for the partnership with ING Bank Romania for the extension of Allevo solution, FinTP, in the infrastructure of the bank.

Bogdan Avramescu was there to receive the award and outline what makes FinTP stand out and become the banking software solution of choice. He also touched on how Allevo helps customers achieve compliance and operational excellence.

Bogdan Avramescu, Sales Manager at Allevo, emphasized during the Finmedia event:

“At European level, the Instant Payments regulation adopted in 2024 establishes clear obligations for banks regarding the adoption of instant payments in EUR, including for institutions in member states whose currency is not EUR, starting in 2027. Instant Payments in EUR are based on the SEPA Instant Credit Transfer scheme, and for settlement, Eurosystem provides the TIPS service, which enables 24/7 fund transfers with real-time settlement through accounts held at the central bank. The adoption of instant payments is not merely a compliance requirement, but an essential step towards a more efficient, secure, and customer-oriented financial system. It represents an opportunity for modernization and differentiation.”

In conclusion, he added: “The future of payments is being built now, and together we can shape this change.”

This highlights how important these meetings and discussions are—bringing together specialists from financial-banking and technology institutions.

The event was preceded by a roundtable discussion focused on the role of artificial intelligence in the digital transformation of Romania’s financial and banking sector. The debate explored the shift of AI from pilot projects to a central pillar of digitalization, highlighting integration challenges and customer perception issues.
