I don’t say yes to every app project.
Not because I am fancy, but because the wrong projects always blow up later.

Here are 3 types we usually say no to:

1/ “Clone ABC but better” with no twist
If the only plan is “we’ll be cheaper than [big app]”, there’s no real angle or target user.

2/ No real owner on the client side
If nobody is responsible for decisions, feedback, and priorities, the project turns into a mess very fast.

3/ No budget limits, no timeline, no priorities
“We’ll see as we go” sounds flexible, but it usually means scope creep and frustration for everyone.

I'd rather say no early than pretend it will somehow work out.

That honesty saves both sides a lot of time and money.
