And so it is, a shy debut in playwriting and directing.

I’ve been blessed to meet people who trusted me and got deeply involved in this, even though we were short on time. So my exam play turned into a short movie… or something like that.

A story about two characters coming from completely different worlds, colliding in the bathroom of a club.

The challenge was to play it in an unconventional space, learn it fast, rehearse, adapt, and still see it as a play, even if it was shot as a short film.

We faced some interesting challenges, but being adaptable and finding solutions became the key. And these amazing people made it all look easy.

Sharing the curiosity of going into the street to perform, they were open enough to say yes when I asked if they wanted to do this.

We researched the idea of connection and disconnection, aiming to challenge people’s minds. In the end, the challenge was ours. Our expectations, enthusiasm, the volatility of the street, the limited time, the language barrier, all of them became huge lessons.

I’m deeply grateful for these people and for the experience we shared together. I hope I’ll see them again soon.

Acting is a team game. And the actor is not “gifted”. It’s the person willing to work, to focus, and to lose themselves in the organism.

You are a cell.
We are a cell.
We learn to work together so the whole thing can function.

The body I was part of this year was a mix of cultures, ideologies, ideas, and amazing human beings. I learned to love them day by day, even on the days when I couldn’t stand them.

I feel so much for them, but the best way I can describe it is:
“mi-s dragi, domne!”

I’m not done yet, but from this moment on, I move forward through a forest of tears and contemplation.

Erasmus in your 30s… I’m telling you, it’s worth starting another university just for this.

The family that theatre builds stays alive forever.
The tears, the sweat, the appreciation for each other’s growth, the support, the eye rolls, the bitten tongues.

Theatre builds organisms. Families. Bonds.

Because while you’re there, nothing else really matters
except that moment.

And if anything ever matters in this world, it’s this:
tearful eyes looking with appreciation at the ones around you, realising you’re not so different after all.
Learning, somehow, to work as one.

What an honorable work.

This year, I was thrown into the journey of a lifetime. Gathering knowledge while being in this era, working with the teacher I had was so revealing, and seeing different approaches opened my eyes.

Opened my eyes to what?

To how much you can actually receive in such a short time.

For our final project, we worked on an experimental show, questioning the idea of heroes, mixing Antigone by Sophocles and Judith by Howard Barker (which I honestly recommend to anyone)

We were challenged to perform more than one role, to see more than one perspective, to work with metaphor in a language that is not fully ours, and still understand its meaning.

To see how things can shift, from top to bottom, and still make sense.

It opened my eyes in the best way.

It was an honorable work.

Not something I will easily forget.

Because it definitely shifted my perspective
and sharpened my qualities.
