Bartosz Koziak - cello Composed of exceptional artists from Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, the quartet passionately brings to life the diverse musical heritage of the region. Their authentic performances span from the rich traditions of the past to the vibrant compositions of today, captivating audiences at prestigious European festivals. Dedicated to promoting cultural exchange, the quartet played a pivotal role in spotlighting V4 musicians and composers to European audiences since the V4 Anniversary Year in 2021. By seamlessly blending their respective countries' musical traditions, the V4 String Quartet pioneers innovative ways to visualize music for greater diversity and compassion in society. Along with their performance endeavors, the quartet is committed to education. They conduct master classes and workshops across the four countries, nurturing the next generation of talent and fostering deeper cultural connections within the V4 region. As a symbol of European unity and cooperation, the V4 String Quartet proudly represents the harmonious synergy among different EU nations. They have graced renowned festivals, including the Levoca - Indian Summer Festival in Slovakia, the New Millennium International Chamber Music Festival in Hungary, the EUFONIE International Music Festival, and the Chain Festival of the Lutosławski Society in Poland, among others.

A program csendes, költői hangulatból indul, majd egyre nagyobb energiával érkezik meg Liszt Magyar rapszódiáihoz. Különleges pillanat lesz Jan Freidlin Expectation és Oleksandr Kozarenko Irmologion című művének magyarországi bemutatója is.
A MiraTone Ensemble-ben professzorok, résztvevők és az Ukrán Ifjúsági Szimfonikus Zenekar fiatal muzsikusai játszanak együtt. 🎻

We were delighted to take part in the very first public event at the newly renovated Hungarian Embassy in Warsaw, marking the closing event of Hungary’s V4 Presidency.

One week ago, the V4 String Quartet had the honor of closing the Hungarian V4 Presidency gala evening organized by the Wacław Felczak Foundation. 🇭🇺🇵🇱🇨🇿🇸🇰
Our program featured works from all four Visegrad countries — celebrating the shared cultural heritage and musical voices that connect our region.
Thank you to the Felczak Foundation for the invitation, and to everyone who helped make this special evening possible.
