Marvel Yarbrough, who’s stage name is Burberry Jesus, has been accused by the British fashion brand of trademark and copyright infringement. The rapper is not only using for his personal gain the name of the brand but he is also posting photos and videos of him wearing Burberry merchandise and cars wrapped in prints using the famous Burberry pattern.
According to Burberry, several Cease and Desist Letters were sent to the rapper but the infringement continued, reason why a complaint has be n now filed with an Illinois Federal Court.

Daimler AG, the owner of Mercedes-Benz, was investigated for fitting around 250.000 of its vehicles with a software meant to pass emission tests.
In addition to the $1.5bn that Daimler will pay to the US government and California state, the car manufacturer engaged to pay $700m to compensate the vehicle owners, to repare the affected vehicles within 2 to 3 years, on its own cost, and to extend the warranty on certain parts.

The two decade-long trademark dispute over the parallel stripes between Adidas and H&M ended in March this year. The Hague Court of Appeal has ruled that H&M is not infringing Adidas’s three stripe trademark by using the two stripe sign on its sports clothing.
