Procurement cannot compare prices when suppliers are quoting different risks.
As a procurement manager, you may think that all the quotes that you receive are taking into consideration the same variables. After all, it is the same part, the same drawing and volumes. But if every supplier understood the project differently, the comparison is already compromised.
