I'm thrilled to announce that I've been selected as a Global Schools Advocate for the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network's Global Schools Program for 2025-2026!
Out of ~2,000 applicants from around the world, approximately 300 dedicated educators were chosen to join this incredible initiative supporting UNESCO's Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) for 2030 Roadmap.
As a Global Schools Advocate, I'll be working to:
*Integrate education for sustainable development into our school community
*Develop students' understanding of global citizenship and sustainability
*Implement ESD activities and long-term strategies in classrooms
*Share experiences and collaborate with fellow advocates worldwide
*Encourage our school to join the Global Schools Pledge
This opportunity represents more than just professional development – it's a chance to help shape the next generation with the knowledge, values, and skills needed to build a sustainable and prosperous world.
I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited to embark on this journey of localizing and integrating global citizenship, sustainability, and 21st-century skills into our educational community.

My heart is heavy as I say goodbye to my dearest friend, Mpamei. The world has lost not just an incredible singer and musician, but a beautiful soul who brought joy and melody into all our lives.
John's voice wasn't just heard in his music – it echoed in his laughter, his kindness, and the way he made everyone around him feel special. His talent was matched only by his generous spirit and the love he shared with all who knew him.
Though the music has stopped, the memories we created together will play on forever. Rest in peace, dear friend. Your song will live on in our hearts.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and all who loved him during this difficult time.
