Quantum Global Solutions is pleased to share that our Regional Director and Testifying Delay Expert, Lucia Vernon, will be participating in an upcoming panel discussion entitled ‘Best Practices for Managing Time-Related Clauses Under FIDIC Contracts in Delay Analysis’, along with industry experts Dr Amira Shalaby, Eng. Haya S. Saleh and Eng. Noha Shafik. The session will be moderated by Dr Rania Fayed.

Organised jointly by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Egypt Branch), AACE EGYPT Section, AACE International, AACE Region 7 Middle East, AACE Women in Project Controls Committee and (The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration ), the event will bring together leading professionals from across the construction, contracts and dispute resolution sectors.

The discussion will examine the practical application of provisions relating to delays, notices, programme updates, mitigation obligations, concurrent delay and claims substantiation. It will also explore how planning, project controls, contract administration and delay analysis can work together to support robust and defensible project outcomes.

As a recognised delay expert who has supported clients across multiple jurisdictions on complex construction disputes, Lucia will share practical perspectives on managing time-related risk and the role of delay analysis in supporting successful project delivery and dispute resolution.
