I met this father and son from France, after the match between Ecuador and Netherlands in Khalifa stadium. They told that they are really surprised to see how Qatar is conducting this world cup. In France they used to see only negative comments in medias. But after coming here they are so happy to see how people are welcoming them, all are very friendly and helpful. They are very impressed about the world cup facilities, crowd control, public transport, etc. Everything going very smoothly. The most important thing what he told, this world cup happens in one city. All stadiums are located in an hour distance (maximum). All teams are playing near to us. All fans are here. So you can see people from different countries in one place. This is a rare opportunity. In other world cup tournaments you cant see that. So he is happy to bring his son to witness this tournament. They came for France vs Denmark match and they could watch Ecuador vs Netherlands match too. They told they wish to visit Qatar again if they get a chance.
I guided them to the right metro to reach the Bida fan zone and asked them try to visit Souq Waqif and Katara before they go back.
