Despite being inactive most of the year, this is not bad 🎉😝

This was a weird year for me… and with my 300th post on this account, I would like to thank every fellow photographer that stuck with me in spite of the algorithm demanding you to unfollow me. Of course, many succumbed to the pressure, but hey! Thanks for being around whilst lasted.

My 2023 resolution is doing more of what I like and love (and photography is certainly one of those things). So you will see more of my instagramable family this coming year. Happy new year to all of you, I hope 2023 brings lots of compassion, empathy, and love for all!

I’m grateful for all the lovely comments that I received yesterday. Guys you are definitely what makes this whole thing special, you are the best!

Whilst I figure out a posting routine that suits me better (even the almighty Alan Schaller is posting reels now) I will leave you the remnants of this lovely trip.

My father used to wear a Seiko watch. After he passed away I tried to find out what happen to the watch, without much success. I then tried to figure out, together with my brothers and our mum what model was, to see if I could find a similar piece on eBay. After a lot of tracking and deliberation, I found a piece that looked pretty similar (potentially identical) to what we recall was dad’s watch.

Today is a very special day because that piece arrived home and here it is in all its splendour. I would like to restore it one day and leave it brand new, but I need to learn watch making, so let’s get to it 😅
