August Book Club Recap 🌟

Our curious cats read two very different books last month!

Our Thursday group read Lessons in Chemistry, then made butter, experimented with drinks and explored the effects of catnip on the kitties. They exchanged yummy recipes and took home some Himalayan NaCl 😋

While our Saturday group read I Who Have Never Known Men, discussed what their survival packs would look like and what books their library would have if it was the last one on earth 🌍

Sign ups are now open for Book Club! We now meet on from 4-6pm every last FRIDAY of the month. Our October Book is extra spooky and costumes are being made as we speak 🕷️🧙

Our Sweet Lucy has mammal tumors ☹️

She had to have surgery done and has lost so much weight. She underwent a mastectomy and a hernia closure. Unfortunately Lucy has to have another surgery in a few months once she’s stronger simply due to the nature of her mammal tumors.

If you’d like to help with Lucy, please send us a message! She would appreciate any treats, toys and any help with costs associated with the surgery 🥲

We also do ask that you send your prayers and positive thoughts to our Lucy, she’s the light of the Cat Castle 🌟

Looking for loving forever homes 🌟

We have SO many cats and kittens!

These cats come from all kinds of different places and have just one thing in common: they’re ready to settle down and love their person.

Adopting helps them and helps us by freeing up space for the next intake, it makes such a difference!

Another foster fail for the books! Our Calla Lily, now Minnie, has been adopted 🤍

Little Calla was rescued from the park and went straight into foster care with Safa, Sana and the rest of their family.

When it came down to finding her a home, they just couldn’t bear the thought of letting her go! Minnie now has an emotional support croissant, a fish she has proudly “caught” and an incredibly loving family that loves her 🤍

Congratulations on conquering the castle sweet one 🏰🤍

Our little Salt Shaker has been adopted 🥰

Salt shaker is a CH kitty, meaning he is a little wobbly! He was rescued as a kitten.

A fun fact about his mom is that Jacqueline actually had rescued a wobbly kitten who came to us and was adopted quickly (hi Teddy!!) and so she back came to us looking for someone similar — and salt shaker was the perfect fit!

He has been the perfect addition to her little family, loves to play and cuddle.

Congratulations on conquering the cat castle sweet boy 🤍🏰

Our sweet Pond, now Koda, has been adopted 🥰

Pond just kinda showed up during the park rescue and decided to sit between our legs. He kinda rescued himself.

We put out a plea for fosters for the kittens and Ruhee reached out to help! Having been told about her resident kitty, Emmett, we thought Pond and his character would be the perfect fit!

He didn’t take long to fit in and got along well with everyone, when it came to find him his home — they just couldn’t bear to let him go! A true foster fail 🥰

Congratulations on conquering the cat castle little Koda 🤍

Meet Petal 🌸

Yes, another one from the park. Petal was about to be grabbed but we swooped in last minute — and thank god for that!

She is a little shy — just ever so slightly as she’s still trying to explore her new space. Petal is extremely sweet, loves to be pet and cuddled. She does tend to keep to herself but she’d love to build her confidence in her forever home.

She’s ok with cats, preferably a docile friendly cat! Petal has not been dog tested yet.
