It was a dark yet beautiful night in the Wakrah Souq....
I took a slow walk along the beach side road, enjoying the place.
The Eid crescent in the sky was a gentle reminder that the holiday had begun...... 🌙⭐️
Everywhere I looked, restaurants and outdoor dining spots 🥘🍜 were full of people celebrating, 🍻while I was wandering around, searching for something I truly enjoy. 🍲
Finally, I found a simple, authentic meal - nothing fancy, but full of flavor and comfort. Sometimes, these small and familiar things that make a moment special.
That simple experience made my holiday feel complete and genuinely happy.

Life can feel heavy and quiet....
Nights seem endless, 🌒
But darkness never lasts forever....
The morning always comes. 🌅
God gives us the strength to carry on,
So hold on and trust that brighter days are coming... ⌛️⏳
Tonight I was driving through the Corniche road full of lights,
And for a moment I remembered how simple happiness used to feel...............
I just want ordinary days again.
Days where we laugh freely.....
Days where we travel without fear.....
Days where we look up at a deep blue sky and hear nothing but peace.......
No war. No sirens. Just life.
My only prayer is for tomorrow,
A peaceful country, bright roads, open journeys, and a sky that belongs only to hope.
May our nights be calm, our hearts be light, and our homeland finally breathe in peace......!
There was a time when our 🇶🇦streets were full of laughter.... 🇶🇦
Music filled the air.... 🌅
People lived, smiled, and dreamed....🥂
Now the laughter is quiet.....
The streets are silent......
My heart breaks....
Lives changed overnight.....
One day we will hear laughter again......
One day the fear will end, and peace will return.....
Until then, we remember,
We hope,
And we pray..........!
I am alone on my daily road....
The road is the same,
yet it feels different.....
Quieter,
Heavier,
As if the silence is speaking
what my words cannot.
War leaves a loneliness behind,
not only in empty streets,
but inside hearts.

Souq Waqif ..
A place to shop, dine, wander… or simply sit at one of the many charming outdoor cafés and watch the world go by.

For centuries, this spot has been a meeting place for Bedouins, who brought wool and animals here to trade for daily necessities.
Over time, the souq fell into decline and nearly faced demolition. Thankfully, in 2004, a decision was made to preserve its soul. Today, Souq Waqif stands beautifully restored, renovated using traditional Qatari architectural techniques - keeping its history alive while welcoming travelers from around the world. 📸📽️⌛️🧺🏺
