Milhafre Ilha Graciosa Pimenta da Terra
Following the redesign of the Ilha Graciosa cheese range, it was time to bring colour to flavour.
With the launch of the flavoured varieties, we extended the visual language of the range, preserving the structural coherence built across the aged cheeses, while introducing a new layer of expression through colour.
The colour reflects the personality of its flavour, turning the label into an invitation before the first bite.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working closely with a new client, diving deep into ideas, exploring directions, and shaping something we’re genuinely excited about.
Being able to share the journey is what makes each project more meaningful.

How far can a symbol go?
In this project we explored how an icon can move beyond identification and become a storytelling device. The process started with a widely recognised symbol and evolved through reinterpretation until it reached a form that could carry a different reading.
For us, this kind of work is always a balance between story, intention and form. A strong symbol doesn’t explain everything, it leaves just enough space for the idea to continue in the viewer’s mind.
Good design doesn’t start with design.
It starts with alignment.

We’d rather our clients stand out through our design
than our design stand out alone.
Design isn’t meant to compete with the message, it’s meant to clarify it.
Our role is not to leave a stylistic fingerprint. Our role, is to build visual solutions that strengthen positioning, improve perception and create coherence.
Sometimes that means restraint. Sometimes it means boldness. But it always it means intention.
If the client’s product, story or brand becomes more visible, more relevant and more understood, then the design has fulfilled its purpose.
Recognition of the work is welcome.
Recognition of the brand is essential.
Still, it's great when you get both.

Starting from the fundamental geometry of a spear — the pentagon — we developed Spear Legal's brand system that is fluid and ever-evolving, transforming according to context and communication needs.
The colour palette is light, contemporary, and decidedly non-traditional — breaking away from the outdated, conservative aesthetic typically associated with law firms. In digital applications, the colours shift and blend seamlessly, reinforcing the idea of perpetual transformation.
Spear Legal is a new kind of law firm — born from the need for a more agile, forward-thinking approach to legal practice. With a distinctly pro-AI mindset and a “new kids on the block” attitude, they required a brand that could confidently express this fresh positioning.
