2025 was an incredible year! We manufactured, presented and competed with the FS FEUP 02, our very first Autonomous Driving prototype.🏎️⚡️
From late nights in the workshop onto stepping on a podium at the best competition in the world, this year had it all!💫
But the team hasn’t stopped there. Now, the FS FEUP 03 is taking its first steps through the design phase, gearing up to return to the biggest stages this summer!🌟
We are deeply grateful to everyone who have supported us throughout this journey.

We’re thrilled to announce that a Major Update on our Website has been released! ⚡️
As the team continues advancing in the manufacturing phase, and training at full speed for the competitions’ Quizzes, we decided it was time for our Website to keep up with pace.

⚡️Competing to Validate - Part one⚡️
As per the current team cycle planning, the team decided early on to compete during the 2024 summer in Concept Class competitions. The team had the objective of presenting the design of the second prototype, and competing in other static events. Entering the best competitions is important, and therefore the team trained throughout the past winter to achieve that.
FS Switzerland was the first of three competitions. It was held from the 13th to the 17th of July of 2024 in
Hintermattstrasse, in the beautiful mountains of Switzerland. The level of the competition was rigorous and the team was eager to show a year’s worth of development for the first time - the new FS FEUP 02!
The feedback provided was key to refining some details for the next competitions and the development itself. Achieving the overall win, also winning all events was a statement to the team’s dedication and commitment over the past year! 🏎️💨🇨🇭

The Aerodynamics Department is responsible for the development of aerodynamic elements such as wings. This includes extensive simulation and analysis of the airflow around the prototype to achieve the best possible aerodynamic efficiency, increasing downforce and reducing drag levels, validation such as wind tunnel testing and ensuring proper mounting and construction of each element. It encompasses the subsystems of Aerodynamic Devices, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Integration & Mounting, and Validation.

The Vehicle Dynamics Department is responsible for vehicle conceptual decisions, suspension geometry design as well as its kinematic analysis and dynamic behaviour, and performance analysis using vehicle testing or virtual simulations. It encompasses the subsystems of Suspension Kinematics & Dynamics, Lap Time Simulation, and Testing.
