Today we presented our proposal for a major economic recovery plan to build a green, digital and resilient future for our Union.

Our new recovery instrument, , will focus on 3 pillars:
1️⃣ Supporting EU countries with investments and reforms;
2️⃣ Kick-starting the EU economy by incentivising private investments;
3️⃣ Addressing the lessons of the coronavirus crisis, with a new Health Programme, reinforcing our Civil Protection Mechanism and funding for vital research.

Next Generation EU will be embedded within a revamped long-term for 2021-2027 of €1.85 trillion.

We want the recovery to be sustainable, even, inclusive and fair for all EU countries.
