CLAYPLAY is a space for experiments.
Every time we expand, try something new, and see where it takes us. This time we have two DJs and two dance floors.

From 14:00 to 18:30 — playing vinyl: funk, soul, dub and reggae. Moving through the 60s, 70s and into more modern sounds.

For the final part of the evening, downstairs in the Basement — with a more experimental, dancefloor energy: drum and bass, 90s vibes and breakbeat.

Sgrafitto Masterclass with .holt.ceramics
Sgraffito is an amazing ceramic decorating technique that works with raw clay and underglaze (engobe) to create stunning designs. It’s a meditative practice that lets you decorate your pieces from minimalist patterns to intricate, cosmic-inspired universes.

My dear colleague, friend and amazing Italian artist Clara Holt will be coming to my residency in Palmela. She has dedicated many years to the art of sgraffito, and her exhibitions and residencies are now taking place around the world.

On April 11th we will host a unique workshop where Clara will share her skills and approach to working with the sgraffito technique. If you have ever been interested in underglaze decoration and drawing on clay, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to decorate ceramic pieces in a special and expressive way.

Next Tuesday I will be hosting a hand‑built teapot workshop! The workshop consists of three sessions:

• Tuesday, 24 February 2026 — 18:00–20:00 — Shape and hand‑build your teapot
• Tuesday, 3 March 2026 — 18:00–20:00 — Continue shaping and building
• Tuesday, 17 March 2026 — 18:00–20:00 — Glazing session

At the end of the workshop, you will have a handmade teapot that you can use for many years and share joy with your loved ones.
