Today is a very special day in Norway, May 17th, Constitution Day.

And at this moment you might be asking yourself "Aren't you Portuguese, Susana?" 🤔

Well... Once upon a time... I'm kidding! 😜 Yes, I´m Portuguese, and I love it, but I have a passion for Northern Europe, in particular, Norway where I´ve lived, worked and have good friends! :)

I miss Norway's culture, food, fresh air, organization... And I think I can say that if we would match a country with our personality, Norway would be mine! :)

Meanwhile, I'm keeping my self updated with Mon amie posts about Norway, a Portuguese Girl working and living in Norway :)

Yup... You can say it! Is there a day for everything? :)

15th of May, in particular, is a very special one for me. Being a Virtual Assistant based in Europe, and more specifically in Portugal, can be a challenge because still there isn't much info about what can a VA do and how can a VA help you achieve your goals.

But we're changing this... One business at a time! :)

With cohesion, focus and professionalism we're providing high skilled competences and helping costumers setting their businesses to the next level.

It's me and my cousin Daniel, and we shouldn't have been more than 6 at that time.

As far as I remember, we should've been 5 years old when we decided to start our own business. 💪 From our own toys, we've chosen the ones that were in good condition and strategically placed a table at the door of our aunt's store and tried to convince people buying a beautiful second-hand item from us.

I don't remember if the stock of toys had run out, but in a short period of time, we started our second business.

We invested the money raised with our toys sales in the purchase of corn and shiny paper and with the help of my mother Teresa - who patiently cooked our popcorns 🙏 - we started to sell popcorn at my door
I don't remember how long it lasted, but I still remember the bright yellow paper we used for the cartridges and how happy we were with our business.

How important was it for us, current entrepreneurs, that at such a young age nobody told us that we were too young or that we didn't know the basic principles of something?

What a better way to celebrate International Women's Day than to see women empowering other women by recognizing their work?

Amanda @amandakobus, from the Netherlands, currently based in Colombia is a graphic designer and she helps create visuals and graphics for my marketing. Hannah, from New Zealand, but based in the UK, helps manage my social media accounts.
