Monotype is all about embracing the unexpected each print is unique, expressive, and entirely your own.

During this workshop, you’ll have the chance to:
• Experiment freely with colors, textures, and layering
• Discover surprising patterns and effects
• Let go of perfection and enjoy the creative process
• Create one-of-a-kind prints to take home

No prior experience is needed just bring your curiosity and an open mind. This is a space to relax, play, and express yourself. There are no mistakes here, only discoveries.

Squid was invited to the show Por Perto on .canal to talk a bit about who we really are!

First, we are an art collective, not just a shop🤗 There’s 8 of us from all over the world, working across many different artistic approaches, but art is what brought us together. And together, we believe we can do anything💪💪💪

We’ve been based on Rua do Loureiro since 2018, sharing and showing each other’s work: ceramics, illustration, printmaking, drawing, and also projects created collectively.

We also host workshops, from ceramics to printmaking!

They happen in our space and in collaboration with .art , exploring almost every medium you can imagine. During the show, Felipe demonstrated our “Printing with LEGO” workshop, sharing the process step by step🤗
