NVIDIA has officially retired the classic NVIDIA Control Panel after roughly two decades, shifting GeForce users to its newer unified NVIDIA App. The modern app now handles driver updates, game optimization, DLSS controls, and most settings previously found in the old panel.

AMD is reportedly preparing its next-generation Zen 7 “Grimlock” CPUs for a 2028 launch using TSMC’s advanced A14 1.4nm process technology.

The chips are also expected to adopt Powertech’s FOPLP packaging and enhanced 3D V-Cache designs, potentially boosting core counts and cache capacity. Rumors point to up to 16 cores and 224MB of L3 cache per CCD, while AMD continues pushing heavily into AI-focused CPU and server development.

China’s first serious gaming GPU, the Lisuan 7G100, has officially arrived, but its performance appears far behind NVIDIA’s latest offerings.

Despite reportedly costing around the same as an RTX 5060 Ti, early benchmarks place the card closer to the older RTX 3060 in gaming performance.

The GPU supports modern features like DirectX 12 and Vulkan, making it a notable step for China’s domestic graphics industry.
