Con base en Lisboa y Santiago de Chile, MOB apunta invitar a jóvenes creadores de diferentes partes del mundo a presentar propuestas donde plasmen sus puntos de vista a alrededor del diseño de muebles. A través de ejercicios basados en sus propias experiencias locales, las piezas son posicionadas en la escena global, para finalmente retornar a un contexto íntimo a través de sus usos cotidianos.

MOB Projects
MOB is an international design incubator that develops furniture projects designed by artists and architects. Based in Lisbon and Santiago de Chile, MOB invites young creators from different parts of the world to summit proposals for a piece of furniture with the aim of establishing connection nodes capable of generating crossings between multiple places, creators, users, ideas and markets.
Our production model is based on the commission of designs by invitation, manufactured and distributed by MOB, ensuring high production standards and high quality. Each piece is a limited edition and is certified by each team.
We invite creators with both emerging and established careers, always under the premise of looking for fresh and particular voices with their own style and challenging their contexts. In this way, we want to materialize personal research into products capable of transmitting the complexity of social and formal thinking.
