Yu Lin Humm

When they ask you to act and the character has your real life story: a cellist who gets acute tendinitis (me at 14) so she cannot perform anymore. In the meantime, she starts hearing some distant melodies in her head, starts “channeling” them and writes them down, to finally perform them. With the director we laughed about how accurately her script was describing my actual life in the past 10 years, but condensed in a 5 min short. It premiered at Roma Cine Fest 2020 ✨ Loved being part of this project ❤️ Finally clearing my hard disks & making my reel, so please bear with me as I post random memories 🍇
